Instagram has been worried for years about a decline in use of its app with the teen market. So what did they do? They invested millions to figure out how to retain them. We are in a world where big social media giants seek our children’s attention for their monetary gain. Today’s tech giants all have one thing in common. Revenues are generated by engagement algorithms that are bad for all of us. We need to do better. We need to create technology that is designed to be humane and kind.
